Getting Old - MGS

Time is running so fast,
And no one can ever stop its flow,
Not me, not you, not anyone,
It’s a river that we all must know.
Growing old is our destiny,
A journey we cannot evade,
Accept it or not, it’s a reality,
In every wrinkle, a story laid.
When I get old,
I’ll be an inspiration, not a destruction,
Sharing my experiences to uplift,
Not to boast, but to spark a connection.
I’ll still compete, embracing the challenge,
But with grace, not to downgrade,
Gathering friends for celebration,
In laughter and joy, our bonds remade.
I’ll be a path to peace, not a quarrel,
A bridge for understanding, not a divide,
When friends have trouble, I’ll listen closely,
Seeking harmony, with love as my guide.
When I get old,
I’ll spend my time wisely,
Filling my days with positivity,
Embracing the moments, being merry.
For in the tapestry of life,
Each thread is woven with care,
And as time runs its course,
I’ll cherish the love that we share.
