Girl On Fire

You are the storm that commands the sea, The burning spark that demands to be free. No permission needed, no apology made, A beautiful balance of light and of shade. I see the wildness, the depth, and the grace, A presence that time can never erase. Unforgettable, fierce, and entirely whole, An untamed spirit, a matchless soul.

Peacefull Mindset

To a mind that is still, the entire universe awaits.  When you possess inner wisdom and insight, You use your soul and your eyes to touch the heart of things.  We are made of the same drops that we see in the ocean. We value what lies within the sphere of our understanding, And realize how dependent we are on what is far beyond it.  When the mind is tranquil, it becomes a mirror of the universe, Reflecting all things, in the midst of darkness,  We alone see the light of dawn; in the midst of silence,  We alone hear harmony echoing from within our own souls.  Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes,  Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way, They are meant to be; all things are one Let your mind and heart be free and at peace.

Depression is not a joke!

This is an Awareness!   DEPRESSION is not a joke.  T here is one main issue I have noticed in life:  no one can escape loneliness,  yet  people often do not know why they laugh at someone experiencing this.  Some feel alone in life: those who are depressed, and those who keep trying but find no support. The lack of support is a significant part of the problem in people’s lives. The biggest issue is “not knowing how to help one another”. I believe that if people had the right mindset to offer help and support, things wouldn't be as difficult. Due to a lack of communication and understanding, loneliness and suffering persist. So, take a moment to reflect on this and honestly consider ways to make life better for one another.  This touched on a profound and pervasive issue that affects many people across different walks of life. Loneliness can be a silent struggle, often exacerbated by a lack of understand...

Celebrate your Small Wins

"I just read a good book, and I wanted to give a reflection on it. The book explains "Realize how hard you have worked to strike down negativity. Strive for whatever you truly want, pursue what is good, and let giving up be your absolute last option. You must be stronger and better today than you were yesterday. Go deep down—beyond pain, beyond exhaustion. When it is harder than you imagined, and when it takes longer than you thought, you cannot give up. Even when the pain is more than you think you can bear, keep moving. Take one more step, run one more lap, and throw one more punch. It is about perfecting you , not just doing more. Face every fear and climb every mountain, one step at a time, until you are left standing at the top with nothing in your way". The Essence: This message captures the heart of perseverance and the relentless pursuit of personal growth. Striving for major goals requires us to dig deep, pushing through discomfort and challenges that may see...

Stay Still

No matter what you have gone through, Keep chasing your dreams.  Stay focused and keep standing, To battle for a happy and peaceful life. In this life as clear as water,  Even the ripples are reflecting its light,  For we come through in waves.  Think with your whole body and feel with your heart.  Be aware of your path; you may not know, Where it may lead, but not knowing, Where you're going is what inspires  you to travel the path.  All things and everyone belong to one truth,  One true essence, and meaning called life.  Merge your mind and soul with the world, And take a glance from your eyes at life.  All that arises will soon pass; all that has passed, Will be replaced by something else that arises.  What matters most about your own life Is each heartbeat and each move,  You are making at this moment. Analysis These words of mine resonate with a profound sense of hope and resilience. They remind us that the journey of l...

The Essence of Human Experience

We do what we can in life,  Until our destiny is revealed.  What we will leave behind,  Will not be engraved i n stone monuments,  But woven into the hearts of others.  For all things are formed by nature, To change and nothing stay the same.  As long as nothing drives us away, W e remain free,  No one shall hinder us from doing what is good, We choose, and we choose to do,  What is according to nature.  The true person is revealed in difficult times,  When hardships arise,  They are there to come through it all.  Always look within,  For within is the foundation of good,  It will always spring up, If you will look deeper.  Nothing has such power to broaden,  The mind and soul as the ability, To see all that comes  With observation in life,  Time is the essence.

Old Employees Status

Manifestation of the "old employee status".   Preparing for retirement is a vital journey that deserves our proactive attention. As we enter our 50s and 60s, continuing to work becomes a deeply personal choice. For those who choose to remain in the workforce, maintaining our standard of performance ensures we continue to bring immense value to our organizations. Our contributions should always align with professional expectations, allowing us to take pride in our work. However, if we find that meeting these demands becomes challenging, transitioning into retirement on our own terms can be an empowering choice, rather than waiting for circumstances to decide for us. Throughout our careers, especially within the teaching profession, building long-term financial security must take priority over short-term spending. While it is natural to enjoy the fruits of our hard work, avoiding unnecessary expenses protects our future peace of mind. Personally, I am challenging myself...

Thank You (Mother's Day)

Mother, I hope heaven is open so you can hear this;  From my heart, this is written;  The dawn is breaking, but the silence in my room remains. If the universe gave me just one wish tonight, I wouldn't ask for wealth, or fame, or more success. I would only ask a single minute to talk to you.  I want to tell you that the little girl you broke your back for,  The one you sacrificed your youth and strength to put through school, FINALLY MADE IT! Because of your relentless hard work, I am a successful woman now. Every milestone I reach, Every comfort I enjoy, Is a direct harvest of the seeds you planted in tears. I am so deeply, endlessly thankful for everything, You did to make me who I am. But success feels empty when I can't share it with you. So, until we meet again, My heart will keep reaching out into the quiet hours,  Forever wishing I could just feel like I'm talking to you. Nanay, can you see me from where you are? 😔

Pen and Paper

The old poet once said, "If you do not start to write your own story,    someone else will try to write it for you,  It is either good or bad; a story the writer decides".  I don't know what happened to me;  Poetry was once my everything.  Now I've lost my free spirit, my way of life. I've been so distracted that I lost focus on what's mine. My words, my pen, my paper.  All things fell out of sight. My mind drifted off from what kept me sane. I let depression and emptiness take away what was mine to enjoy.  Doubting myself, wondering if I can even do it anymore. I spilled my heart out onto the paper.  Nothing makes me feel more alive  than my pen and my paper.

A Wet Weekend

It's raining in Majuro, but the sun is up!  Another rainy weekend unfolds, A peaceful sight my window holds. The grey skies cast a gentle light, As children play in pure delight. They build their castles on the sand, A joyful, carefree, laughing band. While raindrops fall and waters gleam, My weary mind begins to dream. Safe and warm inside my room, The quiet storm dispels the gloom. The ocean waves and drifting air Wash away my weekend care.

Keep Still

Your heart may have been broken, but broken open, to reveal the only place you haven't looked,  within feelings change from time to time.  Like the passing weather,  sometimes happiness, sometimes sadness,  but beneath it, all is the simple perfection of your life unfolding. The battles we fight are on the inside for peace,  for every thought comes and goes, maybe because of the changes in our life.  the seasons in a cycle or the circumstances that surround us all.  Focus on accepting thoughts and feelings   whatever they are, as natural to you at the moment,  and focus on making a change in this moment here.   Life will unfold as it will,    we can resist it, we can't complain about it,       or we can make the best of it.

I Will Not Be The Same

Awaken!  Unfortunately, I'm not the old me, If you ever did me wrong, I will never look at you the same way again. Indeed, I failed to choose companions Failed to know the true colors of people, realizing, Failure is a part of growing, and my failure changed me! Before, I used to see the good in everyone. No matter how many times they hurt me. I used to believe in fresh starts, in fixing things. Giving people another chance to prove they will change, and differences with us will be fixed, but lo, I'm done! Before I let things slide again and again believing one day they would see and treat me with the same kindness. but I was wrong; now I know better. If you ever did me wrong, I will never look at you the same way again. I don't hold grudges, but I do remember, I remember the lies, the betrayal, the times you chose to hurt me when you didn't have to. times I cried so ma...

Kindness

Be kind, for the world can be a heavy place, A gentle word or smile can bring a warm embrace. Don’t be the reason someone skips a meal, Or dreads the morning light, unable to feel. Your words are like seeds; they take root and grow, In the hearts of the weary, in the souls of the low. A careless comment can linger like a scar, While kindness can shine like a guiding star. Remember, how you treat others reflects who you are, It’s a mirror of your heart, no matter how far. For life is a journey, unpredictable and vast, The tables may turn; today’s triumphs may not last. So tread with compassion, with empathy and grace, You never know the battles that others must face. Lift them up when they stumble, offer a hand, For kindness is a language that helps us all stand. In a world that can feel so lonely and cold, Let your actions be stories of warmth to be told. Be the reason someone feels seen and alive, For in lifting each other, together we thrive.

Calendar

Child, let me remind you of these:  Our memories are like a calendar, pages turned with care,  each date a snapshot of moments once shared. Faded photographs of laughter, whispers in the night,    are captured in the margins, where time feels just right. We flip through the seasons, the laughter and the tears,     each month a reminder of our hopes and fears. Yet as we trace the lines of what once was song,    the moment we cherish we can’t linger long. For time is a river, flowing ever ahead,   carrying forward where new paths are spread. We can glance at the past, let nostalgia unfold,   but the present is a canvas, waiting to be bold. We can never go back to the days that have flown,  though the heart holds the echoes of love we have known. So let’s honor those memories, let them light our way,   as we weave new stories in the fabric of today. For while we can’t revisit the moments we’ve lost,   y...

A letter to myself

I 've written this letter for myself as my guide, so I will always walk in the right path. Dear Self, May this epistle of mine remind you of the ever-changing nature of life. As you bask in the glory of your current successes, I urge you not to become too complacent. The tables can turn at any moment, and what you have today may not be yours tomorrow. Enjoy your time in the spotlight, because it's fleeting. You never know what tomorrow will bring, and it's essential to appreciate the present moment. Don't take anything for granted, as the winds of change can shift quickly. Remember that happiness is temporary, and sorrow can strike at any moment. Today, you may be on top of the world, but tomorrow, you may be facing challenges that will bring you to tears. It's crucial to stay grounded and humble, no matter what life brings. Lastly, let me remind you of your accomplishments. While it's natural to feel proud, be careful not to let your ego get the better of you. ...

Worker of Nation

In the shadow of factories, the bells would chime, A rhythm of order, a march in time. “Don’t think, just do,” the old mantra said, As dreams were tucked neatly away, left for dead. Rows of young faces, all lined up in place, Learning to follow, to quicken the pace. With hands that were calloused, and minds that were still, They crafted a future, but stifled the will. “I want a nation of workers,” the vision was clear, Where questions were silenced, and doubt turned to fear. But the world has transformed, and the winds now have changed, What once was a blessing now feels so estranged. For the heart of the future beats wild and free, It craves innovation, it longs to be. Curiosity dances, and creativity sings, In a landscape of thinkers, where possibility springs. So let’s break the old molds, let’s shatter the chains, Embrace the unknown, let go of the reins. For a nation of thinkers, of dreamers, of doers, Can build a tomorrow where hope always en...

Focus on Your Own Dogma

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma – which somehow already knows what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary . - Steve Jobs “In the fleeting hours of dawn, when shadows stretch, and dreams are drawn, do not wear the masks of others, nor tread the paths of borrowed thoughts; live  with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice, and most importantly, dare to follow your heart and intuition. They break free from chains of dogma’s grip; let your spirit take its rightful trip. For in the silence your heart will speak, a gentle whisper, bold yet meek. Let not the clamor of the crowd drown out the voice that’s soft but proud. In the chaos, find your song, a melody where you belong. Have the courage to chase the light, to follow the stars that burn so bright. For deep within, you hold the key, to unlock the dreams that yearn...

Mom last words

During my prep time, as I was sitting alone in my classroom, a  memory from my past suddenly flashed back into my mind, caught me off  guard, and stirred up a mix of emotions. Then I found myself reflecting on what  my mother told me over the webcam before her last breath. “Everything in this  world is just TEMPORARY; stay humble, especially to your siblings.  No matter how much you achieve, never forget where you  came from." Her words have stuck with me throughout my life. She taught me  that humility is not just about being modest; it's about recognizing that we are  all part of something bigger than ourselves.  I remember my mother; She would often share stories of  her own experiences, emphasizing that success is not solely a result of our efforts  but also of the support and kindness we receive from others. This perspective  has shaped the way I view my accomplishments. I’ve learned to celebrate my  achievements ...
