 I wanna see you lying on my pillow,
And if by chance, I tell how much I care,
Because I finally realized how much you really mean,
If I could turn back time,
When you were so in love with me,
I would surely treasure you and never let you go.
I hurt you and ignored you,
And now I’m bluer than blue,
I keep shouting your name,
Keep waiting, keep hoping,
But time just passes by, no shadow of you.
At the door, I’m standing 24/7,
Pathetically, emotionally, I’m dying to see you,
It hurts to think of what could be,
To take back the love I used to have,
I know it’s wrong, but I dare to swallow my pride,
Just to have you again, to feel you by my side.
But where are you now?
I thought I was strong,
But since you left, the tears never did stop,
The way I used to be has gone by,
Tell me, how can I find my old self again?
Without you, I’m lost,
Hoping here... in distress,
Searching for a way to mend this heart,
To find the light in the shadows,
To reclaim the love that fell apart.
So I stand here, vulnerable and bare,
Wishing for a chance, a moment to share,
To tell you how much I’ve grown,
To show you the love I’ve always known.
But until then, I’ll wait in this space,
Hoping one day, I’ll see your face,
