Just yesterday we were both deeply in love,
Then suddenly, we fell out of love,
It seems hypnotism’s effect overdue,
That even a psychotherapist can’t undo.

Searing pains, my heart suffers, an emotional breakdown,
Who can take me out from this heavy crown?!
This morning, I turned on the radio,

I went out merely to breathe,

But it seems like these two lovers are teasing me,
Sigh, who believes in Romeo and Juliet anyway?!
Back to my bedroom, I turned on the TV screen,
“Marry and be Merry”—a dating game to find your soulmate,
Are you kidding me?! Do you think this will work?!
It’s been years since that parting moment,
And I still can’t get over this excruciating torment.

The saddest part...
I always see your smile,
Your activeness,
Your sweetness,
And your presence,
I love you…

You shouted from afar,
“I love you too…”
My best friend replied back,
Then walked away,
The best revenge…
I did…

I learned to rise from the ashes of pain,
To find strength in the heartache, to dance in the rain,
Though memories linger, I’ll cherish the past,
And in time, I’ll find love that’s built to last.
