The Third-Country Worker - by Arry

In distant lands where dreams take flight,
She crosses seas, a worker's plight.
Grateful to this foreign shore,
Where boundaries she knows full well—
An overseas soul, humble and true,
No grand applause for labors anew.
A paycheck in hand, that's all she seeks,
Enough to sustain, no more she speaks.
Qualifications soar beyond the norm,
Yet silence binds her, no raise to storm.
Listed in work, a place to belong,
Gratitude swells, her quiet song.
She toils unseen, in shadows deep,
Content with the gift that she can keep.
For in this land, though far from home,
Her heart finds peace, no need to roam.
A third-country worker, steadfast and kind,
In thankfulness, her spirit aligned.
