BEHIND THE DESK - MGS

We talk about school like it’s the best place,
But teachers are running a stressful race.
Underpaid, tired, and pushed to the brink,
They have much less time than you would think.
When the system breaks, they get the blame,
But they show up early just the same.
Before the first bell, they start their day,
To help us find our own special way.
They spot your talents and catch your vibe,
And welcome you into the classroom tribe.
The world forgets the hard work they do,
But they never stop believing in you.
They are the heroes who don’t wear a mask,
Helping us out with every big task.
They give us strength to reach the top.

THE LIVING HEROES – MGS

In schools that promise a brighter day,
Teachers work hard but get low pay.
They feel so tired, yet give their all,
While no one listens when they call.
People blame them when things go wrong,
But teachers stay patient, brave, and strong.
They show up early before the sun,
To help and care for everyone.
They see the spark inside your mind,
And help you chase the dreams you find.
Though the world forgets to say thank you,
They guide your steps in all you do.
They do not give up, they do not hide,
They face the storm with love and pride.
They build your hope to help you grow.

THE HELPING HANDS - MGS
School is a place where we learn to grow,
But there is a secret you should know.
Teachers work hard for very small pay,
And feel so tired at the end of the day.
Sometimes people are not very kind,
But teachers don't stop, they don't even mind.
They get to school before the bright sun,
Ready to help out everyone.
They see the big dreams inside your head,
And cheer you on in all that is said.
Even when no one says a thank you,
They stay right there to help you push through.
They do not quit and they do not hide,
They stand by your side with love and pride.
They build your hope so you can shine.

OUR CLASSROOM HEROES - MGS
In schools where we learn to read and write,
Teachers work hard from morning to night.
They skip their breaks and drink cold coffee,
To help us learn and be all we can be!
When things go wrong, they get the blame,
But they keep smiling just the same.
They open the doors before the sun,
To make sure school is safe and fun.
They see the spark inside your brain,
And guide you through the stress and rain.
Though the world forgets to say thank you,
They still believe in all you do.
No capes on their backs, no superpowers,
But they change our world in just a few hours.
They help us grow so we can soar.

Yet they still wake before the town.
They come to help your mind grow bright,
To feed your dreams and give them light.
With open hearts, they face the storm,

BRAVE TEACHER -MGS

In a quiet classroom when shadows creep,
The long corridor you’ve always kept clean,
Each lesson of sweat, every staying up late,
Each teaching with a smile, ignoring the hate.
The indifference of colleagues, the distance of leaders,
All these speak the truth to the student readers.
With every stumble and with every fall,
You rise again; you stand up tall.
The stars still shine, and they know how,
To light the paths of the weary now.
So, lift your chin, let courage swell,
In the depths of struggle, you’ll find your spell.
For you are a BRAVE teacher, true and bright,
With every heartbeat, you ignite the light.
Remember the seeds your soul will sow.

A Poem For all Ages - MGS

I write a poem that makes the world see,    a woven thread wherein hearts can be free. I write a poem that older folks feel,    echoes of wisdom, truth that is real. I write a poem that the youngsters think,   a spark of imagination, a vibrant ink. I write a poem that made the world known,   in verses and stanzas, our stories are sown. I write a poem that makes the world blue,   a reflection of sorrow, a true glance. I write a poem that makes the older folks cry,   for memories cherished and moments gone by. I write a poem that makes youngsters mourn,   for dreams that have faded and hopes that are torn. I write a poem to make the world healed,   with love as the balm and compassion revealed. I write a poem to make the world smile,    a gentle reminder to pause for a while. I write a poem to make the older hope,   a bridge to the future, a way to cope. I write a poem to mak...

Plate Of Plenty

If you don't feel like eating, think of them! This photo has so much pain. 😒 Food is life, but brain fog for an ungrateful heart.  If you don't like what's on your plate,  don’t toss it aside, don’t seal its fate.  Each morsel holds a story, a journey begun, A  gift from the earth, a battle won.   Imagine a morning when the table is bare,  what will you do when hunger calls loud, No bread, no fruit, just an empty stare.  The abundant meals and the warmth of a feast, All vanish in silence and hunger unleashed.  When a pantry is empty, and your stomach aches.   Don't dare to wish!  So, before you discard what you do not desire, think  of the hands that toiled, the hearts that inspire.  Each bite is a blessing, a chance to reflect on  those who have little, on lives we protect.  So, savor the flavors, let gratitude flow, For  the food on your table, let appreciation grow.  For one day you may wake, a...

Gratitude for Provided Lunch

Why We Need to Stop Wasting Our School Lunch Recently, a teacher raised a frustrating concern: students are throwing away the school-provided lunches. It’s a tough conversation, but it is one we need to have. The lunch provided by the PSS (Public School System) is a privilege. Many communities and organizations do not have the resources to offer free daily meals, and we are fortunate to have this support. Being thankful for what we receive creates a better school environment and shows appreciation for the staff who work hard to feed us every day. If you don't want to eat your meal, please do not throw it in the trash. Give it to a classmate who wants it. Consistently discarding food creates negative feedback that could jeopardize the entire lunch program. If we want this program to survive, we need to adapt. That means being willing to eat fruits and vegetables, rather than just sticking to the usual foods we prefer. This program is an opportunity to build healthier eating habi...
