Paradigm

As a teacher, disciplining a student is a massive responsibility that must be handled with care. Shifting away from traditional punishment requires a true paradigm shift—a change of heart that demands constant self-reminders in the heat of the moment. Once you realize that children learn absolutely every other skill by being taught and then given ample time and opportunity to practice, it becomes clear that punishments are completely unnecessary for teaching proper behavior. This shift is not merely intellectual; it requires us to embrace empathy and understanding. We must acknowledge that children are not inherently malicious when they misbehave but are instead simply navigating a complex world. By fostering a compassionate mindset, we can better appreciate the challenges children face and respond to their needs with patience and encouragement. Children learn best when they are explicitly taught how to behave and interact with their environment. Just as they learn to walk, talk, or so...

Never Again

I will never, ever, never, ever make a way to win you back, No more late-night calls or desperate pleas, I’ve learned my lesson, and I’m taking my stand, This time, I’m choosing to set myself free. I will never, ever, never, ever let my heart keep a beat for you again. No more daydreams of what could have been, I’ll guard my heart like a treasure, And let the past fade into the wind. I will never, ever, never, ever hope for us to be together again, The dreams we shared have turned to dust, I’ll build a future without your shadow, And learn to trust in my own strength and love. I will never, ever, never, ever let my mouth speak "I love you," Those words have lost their meaning, They won’t escape my lips again, For I’ve found a new voice, one that’s healing. I will never, ever, never, ever go crazy writing you a letter again, No more pouring my soul onto paper, No more searching for the right words to say, I’ll write my own story, and it st...

Habits

Habits are those little things we often do  without the use of our heads.  And humans have so many of them.  Few of us really think, or perhaps most of us do, For all we know, very few can translate ideas into actions. Breaking free from habits, especially those destructive patterns,  It is not easy, I know; we find them safer and more comfortable at the moment.  It is second nature to us, because we like comfort,  Our lives are made up of habits.  Isn't it scary that our sickness and misery can often be traced  Isn’t that alarming from those who endured the undesirable habit?  If you wonder why others succeed while others fail, well,  just look at how they differ in their habits. YOU, what is your habit?  May this reflect in you...  Habits indeed shape our lives in profound ways, often without us even realizing it. They can be the driving force behind our successes or the chains that hold us back. The comfort of familiar ...

Public Outrage

She freely admits she made bad decisions. She does not sugarcoat the reality, dress it up in the bureaucratic vocabulary of "strategic pivots," or attempt to pass the blame to a subordinate. Instead, she opens the ledger of her own shortcomings and points directly to the single most chaotic executive choice she ever executed: ordering the "No" and making it the actual, operational plan. It was not merely a minor miscalculation or an unfortunate bump in the road; it was a spectacular, unmitigated mess. The parenthetical exclamation point in her own admission acts as a permanent marker of the sheer scale of that tactical disaster. Yet, this explicit admission serves a critical dual purpose. By pulling back the curtain on her worst professional hour, she is not seeking pity, nor is she attempting a complex public relations rehabilitation campaign. Rather, she mentions this specific failure to provide a baseline assurance of her total, absolute lack of experience in t...

Why Can't It Be?

In the silence that follows, echoes of what could be, A heart divided, longing for a love that feels so free. Memories linger like shadows in the fading light, Each moment shared, a spark igniting the night. But fate has stitched paths apart, A bittersweet melody that plays on in my heart. I watch you both, a picture of joy and grace, While I stand on the sidelines, lost in this space. The laughter you share, the secrets you confide, A bond so deep, it feels like a rising tide. Yet here I am, caught in a web of despair, Wishing for a chance, a moment to declare. Why can't it be the two of us?  The question haunts my mind, A love unspoken, a connection hard to find. But in the depths of longing,  I find a flicker of light.  For love takes many forms, and not all are in sight. So, I'll cherish the warmth, the sweetness, the smile, Even if it’s from afar, I’ll hold on for a while. For in this tangled dance of fate and desire, I’ll find my own path and let my heart inspire.

Wisdom

Passion and heart, I get it,  But no one has to tolerate a loudmouth, A human being who doesn’t care to control, A volume and number of words they should say, Grow up and mature; you don’t have to scream to be heard. For silence is a great weapon, a great wisdom, Listening and understanding is a virtue, Keeping your “mouth shut” humbles you in ways, Self-control can also be a great tool, In case you are mindful.

A Wish... Is YOU

A Boy  What would I do if a genie appeared? To make all my wishes come true, I’d ponder the treasures, the dreams I hold dear, Gold and diamonds, a shimmering view. Trips to the South Seas, where the sun kisses sand, But amidst all the riches, one truth shines through, All I want is a boy, And that boy is you. If I have two wishes to make, I wouldn’t ask for another one, For in my heart’s longing, there’s no need to fake, Just a date with a boy, And that boy is you. Who needs wishes to spare, When a day with you feels like bliss? In the magic of moments, I find my heart’s care, For all I desire is your sweet, gentle kiss. I am enchanted with you, In a world full of dreams, you’re my favorite view, So let the genie grant me this wish, pure and true, For all I want in this life, Is simply you.
